nice dude, how do you like that coil on the rear shock? I'm on a pretty stock 2007 or 2008 haro x6, but looking to move on to something more enduro, alot of flatter riding around Southern NE. We just started carrying the ghost brand at work (first to US market), and I have been looking into their kato7 series. Runs full shimano xt with 130mm fox ctd up front and rear. Just worried Ill miss the free ride style.

    any thoughts?

i try to stay away from any sort of uphill riding but love the coil over. very robust and bulletproof for bigger jumps/drops. i thik for that bike you would be fine at a park setup. only really need the big bikes for the gnar stuff.

    Nice!

Kinda wish I had rear disc brakes. Only front. And ya just gotta love a guy with a chainsaw and a tape measure.

We don't have any mountains for my mountain bike here in Galveston. I have fun gettin baked and playin tourist slalom on the seawall in summer, though.

Bada$$ bikes guys! You can count me in for a bike ride.

There's a good amount of fun XC riding in my area. Decent trails in my town that I can ride to. I got a little stir crazy this winter and stripped 2 of my old ''90s era bikes to the frames and rebuilt them.

I did an old GT on a tight budget. Had a frozen seatpost for 15 years I finally got out. Used a mix of used and bargain bin parts. Came out pretty sweet for a rail trail goof around the neighborhood type ride.

    I love bikes and motorcycles.

That could almost be one o' Metard's creations. Love the PBR buckle. All it lacks is a sign somewhere sayin "I ride bikes that ain't been invented yet."

Oh... We ain't got that mountain gnar here, BUT... It's 80 degrees out and the seawall is only a few blocks away. Just got back from a nice ride. Makin the best of it, I reckon. Maybe some wind chop on the horizon too.

I actually only ride bicycles to determine which foot goes forward on a surfing or skate boarde.

It's the one that's closest, right?

Yes. You must always use whichever foot is closest to your other foot. Always.

funny drawing - very little stuff in it is actually functional or necessary. I will say slip-ons are good for casual toe-clip use. Capri pants keep you from getting caught in the chain...but I'd never be seen wearing that sh!t. Those tiny, flat handle bars are dysfunctional and sketchy - they make you ride hunched over and don't turn worth a sh!t. Neon bike parts look really stupid on anyone over 15 yo.

I turned a janky old 80s ten speed into a single speed (tried fixed gear - hated it) and saved a bunch of $$$ than getting a trendy new boutique bike. Then found out I hate riding bikes anyhow - effing boring.

Use to ride a bike to work for about ten years. Maybe 2 miles one way. It was really awesome.Wish I still could but I where I work is on a very busy highway with almost no shoulder and a deep ditch on the side. Chas. is not the most bike friendly city. Need to find ways to get over bridges/rivers on foot or bike without putting your life at risk. I got a 30ish year old beachcruiser that weighs a freaking ton.The hardest part of riding to work was I had to carry it up a flight of steps.
