Game changer imo, I don't like the fact that I enjoy smoking plant matter...it's a dumb thing to do in practice but the lift is obviously worth it for certain people. It's cost efficient and keeps you able to focus and be productive throughout your day without feeling the ****tiness of the other chemicals in the plant. pen's all day

 

Vapes are the way to go. I think there was a thread a little while back about vapes/ecigs. Luckily for me I never found out about these things while I was still using. But a much healthier (in my personal opinion) delivery method for nicotine or in this case THC. Haven't smoke a cig in over 8 months and my lungs and surfing have improved ten fold. My setup below:

 

WTF is a pen?

 

a lot of the ecigs/vapes use batteries (usually called "ego" styled) and they resemble the size and shape of a pen. You'll hear the term hookah pen or vape pen from time to time as well

 

basically you have a tank that you fill with your liquid of choice (with or without nicotine, flavoring or THC oil) and in that tank there is a silica or cotton wick that soaks up the liquid. That wick has a wire coil wrapped around it. When you hit the button on the battery it flows current through the heating coil thus vaporizing the liquid soaked wick into an inhalable vapor compound where the main byproduct being exhale is nothing more than water vapor/condensation. Very very simple technology and basic electrical circuit

 

does the THC vape have a distinct smell like that of the smoked variety? Same question with the flavored stuff/nicotine; do the exhaled fumes have an odor?

 

Where can I safely obtain the thc liquid? Do I need to move to California or can I get this online? My reefer dealers do not have this item in stock yet.

dabbing is the act of smoking BHO/WAX on an oil rig, a "dab" is a verb not a noun.

 

but yea, you can get a pen with an herbal canister or one for BHO/Wax

 

Thanks for the clarification. I've only 'dabbed' a couple times, and would much prefer herb. But as you inferred, what I was referring to as dabs was the BHO/oil/whatever it is.

 

Not sure about the THC liquids or oils as I have never tried them nor never will as I'm in recovery now. But the nicotine e-liquids do have an odor them, and usually it's a very pleasant odor. It'll never be the same smell though like cigarettes, it smells like whatever the flavor is. I've got a strawberry flavored juice today and the vape cloud smells exactly like strawberries. It's funny when someone sees a cloud heading their way and they frantically try and get out of the way of it because of the bad smell stigma associated with a smoke cloud, but as soon as they smell it they're like ohh that's pleasant and nice with a smile lol

As far as the THC liquid goes, you might have some luck online, but I know they sell it in shops out in Colorado along with all the edibles and other such things. I have heard from people who've used the oils though that it stains whatever tank (especially poly carbonate over pyrex) and that flavor is practically impossible to get out if you switch back to a nicotine flavored e-liquid. Simple solution for that, have more than one tank to designate for each juice.

 

I'm not a smoker and really can't stand being around any cig smoke unless I've had a few drinks and even then I'm not likely to smoke a butt. That said, the wahine that I've currently got in the starting position has one of the premier vapes like dudes have posted about and that thing is dandy. Been puffing it here and there when she's over and I picked up a $10 hooka stick in between surf sessions two weekends ago in lieu of pounding a beer or two before second sesh. My body is my temple to a major extent and I'm not looking to push nicotine in my blood on the reg but these vapes get my approval.

 

Don't dab. Your brain will operate at the level of a meth head. People who dab twitch and are unstable.

Stick to the flower 23%thc is way more than enough

Ahh dude I honestly found them to be way too harsh and not really enjoyable. Only tried a couple times, just curious if that's what dudes were puffing in these things. I'm a spliff guy through and through.
