I'm on this website a lot because I'm checking the forecast for my next go out. You are on here all the time defending your life choice. I don't have to do that because the website is geared to people like me. They way you defend yourself and attack others indicates that you have regret.Yet you push it on us.

Please tell me again how great your life is in a middle management job inland where you get three weeks PTO and see the beach a few times a year which you'll move to when you retire. At 60. but the golf courses are better.

If what you say is true and that you would rather live central to all that good golf and rocks to climb, why would want to leave there when you retire and move to the beach? Where we already are, Enjoying the things you say you like to do( But never do) Everyday. While we are young.

Learn english jr. You said enjoying the thingS menaing plural. The only thing I enjoy at the beach is surfing. I want to move to the coast for retirement becasue it is a more relaxing lifestyle than the city. I do not frequnt rock climbing or golf forums becasue they do not have the entertainment that SI has. I would never use crowd sourcing to gain knowledge of an activity like surfng, climbing or golf as that is the pu$$y way to go about it. Best way to learn is to fukin do it. I do not aspire to be a pro surfer, climber or any other sport for that matter. I am happy doing all of these things as a hobby and for fitness. By the time (in 15 or so years) I retire climbing will be out as my tendons are already getting torn and worked over so at near 60 I don't think I will be doign it anymore. True golf is better in the sandhills area of NC (Pinehurst Golf Resort to name but one) but after 30+ years of palying already I can make due with coastal courses and their limitations.

I do seek out moronic posters to "regulate" on. I do not claim to be a surfing guru and rarely interject in a discussion on technique or equipment since i am a layperson in those areas. If you look at my posts 90+% of them are in topics that are non surf related (regardless of if the OP posted them in that section).

My life choice does not need defending especially to a sh!t stain like you. I can tell by the amount of work and time you are putting into your posts that I really bother you and I suspect it's because you are jealous that I have a ridiculously easy life and you do not.

Yes everything you hear about Corp America is true, we spend half the day talking about non work stuff, surfing the web and eating nice lunches or playing golf on others dime (hell I just got back from lunch at Ruth Chris Steakhouse paid for by Traveler's Insurance Co.), I am playing golf at Pinehurst CC next month in Hartford's annual spring outing (that is a $250 round of golf I don't have to pay for) so yeah we got it real fukin easy and that is why the rest of the world talks sh!t about Corp America.

I knew since I was 12 years old that I loved money and wanted to earn a crapload of it. At 19 I spoke to an editor at Surfer Mag becasue I thought it would be cool to be a writer for them and live the "surfer" lifestyle. He told me that they avg staff writer mad about $13,000 a year! I laughed at him and hung up the phone. My first job out of college paid me $37,000 a year and I still was nto happy with that. I made my "life choices" early on based on earning potential and am very glad I did. Now get back to your ****ty job before the boss docks your pay Sally.

I think what your getting at is the "lifestyle" and the "novelty" of surfing. If it is a lifestyle, you breath the stuff...I mean, I was out of the water for 2 months and it made me a grumpy ace! It is a part of my being so to speak

Now, If you only surf a few times a year it may not have the same effect on ones mental state.

Regardless, Haters gonna Hate,,,,,,,,, but I could see your angle on one's disposition being tweaked by their lack of surf relative to others. It is so much easier to see in real life versus this virtual house party...when someone is bringing stoke and someone pulls the carpet out.
