Need to get rid of one of these boards. Not sure which, there purpose is for chest-OH barreling jersey beachbreaks (belmr of course). 1.) 6'3 TPatterson swallow 18.85"x2.14" vs 2.) 6'0 Aka Peter Devries round tail 18 7/8"x2 3/8" Thanks
uhh...i'm not sure that came out quite how you meant it... or worse, it came out EXACTLY how you meant it.
Which one you more comfortable on...? Personally I prefer "round tails" for the type of wave you're talking about...but to be honest when OH you may prefer a bit more rail line. Also, not sure what the rocker looks like on each, bottom contours...it all makes a difference for me. Put up a few pics...
It's the 6'0 aka vs 6'3 t patterson Not sure if it's the small wave assassinator or the chef special for the t patterson http://www.surfscience.com/surfboards/aka-peter-devries http://www.surfscience.com/surfboards/t-patterson-chef-special http://www.surfscience.com/surfboards/t-patterson-small-wave-assassinator
patgeds those board gurus gone ax you bouts things like rocker and tail width and bottom concaves and what have you. Them experts of da surfin learn you good buoy. Yous got a head on you if yous axin them what to do with that quiver you got. btw patgeds, how'd you go and miss the circus round here on the booger threads this week, breh? You and beachbreak go and work those mood problems out yous guys had weeks back? Good to see brads.
Hmmm...probably not the best way to endear people to you. However, To answer your fisrt question, i would select the 6'...A classic HP board that will manage most HH waves. Anything bigger meh...it'll work...a round tail for hold and a bit more surface area. If you're used to it I think it would be a good call...additionally what does your quiver look like...do you have a dD?
