health insurance advice

    I pretty much have a Cadillac health care plan. I'm not sure if it qualifies as one TECHNICALLY, but it covers almost everything. The last plan I had (right around Obamacare starting) and my health care for most of the 00's was not that great. My plan I had at work in the 90's was pretty damn good. That's when health care costs weren't out of control.

    You are young, healthy and single. If you look at the market go with a high deductible plan with low premiums. Not sure what you make but look into your state's medicaid plan. If you get injured on the job, everything should be covered by workers' comp. If you want to supplement with Aflac or another short term disability plan go for it but I'd pass. Insurance rates have been climbing for over a decade now and, like everyone else has said, the plans have gotten ****tier.
