I no longer live in the NE, therefore I am not allowed to chime in. I don't have the cold weather street cred any more... Sorry. Good luck not dying.

lmao classic, and who the phuk is clay?clayton bigsby from Mississippi yea I guess u can say hes attractive.

surfing in the cold wont kill u,you have a better chance of getting raped and stabbed on your way back to your car after a surf, but if u do,remember its your fault for how u dressed.theres no such thing as surfers ear.its a new jersey thing, the guidos with their 10lb spikey hair gel, their buddies use the gel to bang each other in the ears.gross but hey, thats nj.also u can catch aids on the way to the lineup by stepping on a dirty needle in the sand, then wipe the blood away with all those used tampons they leave on the beach.but don't worry our beaches are beautiful,we have water that looks like its being pumped out of a toxic waste dump, jettys that are slipperyier than Kelly slaters head, and more garbage on the beach than Liberia durings the foosball season

getting out of the waters the hardest part?doood I was out a few years ago right after that big blizzard, theres snow on the ground, cold, strong winds.i was out for maybe 40 minutes,i had a heavy wipeout and thought I was about to die so I got out and sat in the snow on the beach for the next hour and a half just watchin everyone else have fun.i remember thinking, damn its pretty warm out here.i actually went back in and played around in the shorebreak just to cool off.u can always spot me in the parking lot taking my suit off because I look like a bruce lee training video trying to kick everything off

I had a real good snarky response to this, but I refrained because I'm trying to be positive.

But, Zach started being antagonistically snarky towards Jersey dudes not stoked aboot 15 degree weather combined with 20-40 mph NW winds. He made unhappy, non-positive remarks. And now he's all bent.

Oh hell, why am I fighting this cause when it has nothing to do with me. I was sick. It was freezing. The surf at my spots wasn't real good(until late, late in the day, if that), I let my ride go, so I ditched the day. Or as Californians used to say, " I shined-it."

The cold doesn't bother me. I actually look forward to freezing for the post-surf, car heater fest which is just divine. It's the closest thing I get to drugs these days. Plus, the seals come out in the winter. Seals are b!tchen. I don't understand you guys who get-off on killing animals. Animals are cool.

"No cold weather cred anymore?" But that a no a matter, as you have California cred which goes much further........much further.

Zach, please don't move to Newfoundland over this, just to prove a point.

Let it go brother. There will be more swells. Stop beating yourself up over it. You don't need to justify your decisions to us. But if it helps you sleep at night, please vent...

BTW, my brother almost took a job in New Foundland, I researched the coast up there. Pretty cool. Instead he moved to Austin. And by Austin, I obviously mean Havre De Grace.
