I'm 5'11'' and weigh 220lbs. Looking for an entry level board for the mid Atlantic ocean (nags head). Saw Morey big kahuna but didn't see any reviews... What do you guys recommend? Like to not go much over $100.
I don't know much about that bodyboard, but if you're looking to spend around $100 then the Morey big kahuna might be the board for you. No. 6 makes a good big guy bodyboard called the Goliath, but I believe it cost around $200.
barry im sorry but do you actually even surf... i suspect your a fat, white, rich wannabe no offense if you shred but i find it hardly evident you can even stand up with the stuff you post on here
Here's two reviews for the Morey Big Kahuna - http://www.ebodyboarding.com/review/product/list/id/2654/category/48/ I agree, a stringer-less board will fold and crease, skip it. You need some support, big fella. Here's a Mike Stewart Science Pipe board with a single stringer for around your price range: http://www.atlanticbodyboards.com/mike-stewart-science-pipe-bodyboard.html No. 6 Goliath is a solid board and will not break or flex much on you, that's for sure. If you're buying a new board, up your price range to near $200 and you will find a lot more options for ya. Check out other No. 6 boards, they're beastly. I would look for 43" boards with at least one stringer, maybe two would be better.
Damn look at da Gaff mans stash..sick lid and err thang Yo can I come chill on your couch and use your drugs for a month this winter
To the OP, please don't abandonne this threade. Thank you. Also, you might get better response to your threade if you put 'Best' in the title. Something like 'Best Bodyboarde for a Heavy Newbie'. W.W.M.L.D.
Excellent information on tap in this thread for me as well, you may even say... I'm sponging in all yalls wisdoms. A scissor kick in the gizzard kinda thread. gj
