    6'2, 225ish.

for small days - bought the 6'2, 21 1/8, 2 9/16 off the rack of this board for 250 and its been a ton of fun, using the MR twin/trailer fin set with it and it flies. http://www.modex-hawaii.com/modex-turbo-surfboard-2-deep-fish-tail-shortboard.html

regular shortboard i ride 6'7 simon anderson mollusc 20 1/2, 2 5/8, and in the market for longboard.

I left a few bigger boards in HI before moving east. couldn't let go of this 7'6 minami quad with a pulled in swallow tail thats 19 5/8 wide 2 3/4 thick, keeping it for trips and hoping a day comes for me to take it out this winter. not sure about the volume of each of these, but excited to be looking for something new/local for a regular shortboard around 6'6 and a step up in the 6'10 range soon.

Couldn't agree more. I used to always ride a 6'-2 but recently moved to a 5'-10 V3 Rocket (I am 6' 190lb). My surfing now has reached the level I've always strived for on a more consistent basis.

I'm 5'10, 42 years old and weigh 175lbs. The boards I ride most (only because I live on the eastcoast) are a 5'4 Sweet potato and a 5'7 Yearwood twin fin. When there's a little push I'll ride either my 5'8 Potatonator or 5'8 JS Dyno. I've got a 5'9 LOST V2 I love in really good waves and on the very rare occasion I'll ride a 6'4 Rusty pintail. I actually have a quiver now that I'm satisfied with but if there was a board that I couldn't live without it would be the old school twin fin. They're so fun in all types of waves.

    6'1'' 170lbs. Taut body of a pre-teen Swedish boy.

5'9'' twin fin, for knee to chest high, any surface conditions
6'3'' JS FatFish 2, Roundtail thruster, for chest high to overhead
9'6'' Eavey Scrambler, for knee to waist high glass.

Tend to use the twin fin the most, because it is always fun, the only issue is duck-diving because it has a lot of volume, so i break out the roundtail when it gets heavy.

    5-10, 188 lbs. Age 59.
Old Tim Nolte 8 ft round pintail, 21 3/4" x 2 7/8". 2+1 glassed-on fins. Thins out quite a bit at nose and tail. Duck dive-able.

Still have an old 8-4 ft Gnaraloo Fatty that I originally bought used two years ago from a local surf shop for my boys and I to learn on. Still take it out just to paddle or catch those small, summer VB waves. The thing is beat to hell, ugly, heavy, and practically indestructible.

gained some weight over the past year and I'm fine with it. Just got realistic about being a bigger dude thats not getting any younger and based my quiver off of that (read: substantially more volume than I've ridden all of my life). Been surfing the same if not better than ever.

    6'2" Roberts WD2 36.8L pretty magic but probably over-volumed.

6'4" Lost Stealth 36.2L only ridden a handful of times or so and haven't clicked with it yet. Scored a couple good days when I first got it and felt like I was going to love it but haven't been as of late.

6'8" Simon Anderson XFC 36-ishL bought it on a whim and kinda like it. Too long though. Rode it on an overhead day a couple of weeks ago and had a hard time getting under the lip the way I could on a normal shortboard. It likes to be bottom turned rather than jammed into the face.

There's also currently 2 longboards, a midlength, and a 5'10" 80's quad that aren't allowed in the house. And there might be a 6'3" Merrick Gravy outside too, unless my buddy still has it from yesterday. A mutual friend got it with a big delam and ended up reglassing the entire deck. He did a nice job but it weighs a ton and is absolutely terrible.
