    Pump,

Is this article (http://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2012/11/14/the_conservative_insurgency) a brief overview of the book (in otherwords conveys some of the high level points)? Seems to be written by the book author.

Interesting sunnularity, the article mentions kid rock ..

You do not make laws according to "exceptions". Therein lies your error.

It gets enforced badly. In practice, an abortion ban largely only ends up applying to poor women. Women of means can hop on a plane or access high end illegal expensive clinics. Just look to Brazil where abortion is illegal to see how the law plays out, it's pretty farked up.

Well then, we should just turn the other cheek as a society and not care about all of those little lives huh? No offense but your analogy is absurd!

Just saying, that's how a ban on abortions plays out, you may not like it, but that's the reality. it applies to the poor only. It's bad situation all around for sure.

Boy oh boy, are you down the wrong road. Fairness in application of the law is NOT the important issues here--it is about NOT KILLING children. You are off on an irrelevant tangent. A law would indeed save quite a few lives; worry about solving evenness of application later. Also, we have got to stop looking at other countries as you suggest, to look for solutions to our problems. Your hero Obama wants to be like Europe (socialism/communism type government) and it is his argument to look abroad for us to follow (our jackass president calls it "leading from behind"--I don't swallow). We are different population demographics--what works abroad will not necessarily work here.
It is a moral dilemma on the abortion issue, not a legal one.

I received an early voter's application from one of Ms. Clinton's advocates. She had partially completed it for me, and the information was ten years out of date. I called them up and tore them a new one, and I then advised my board of elections supervisor and congressman, since I realize some people use them to vote twice.
