^look up The last thing we need is another Clinton in office, and hopefully everyone realizes it now.
Derp! I just realized you were talking about this poll lol. I thought you were talking real life. One less joint for me today.
Just got out of the surf. It was a great morning. Irregardless of who wins, I just hope everybody on this site wakes up tomorrow and is thankful for what you have. Be thankful for your family and friends. For the roof over your head and the food and drink on your table. For the herb of the field and the waves that you ride. For the sun on your face and the rain that grows our food. For the wind at my back as I ride my 1999 Fat Boy EVO down the GSP. Work hard, play hard. Party hard. F@ck hard. Enjoy your life and do not let these political blowhards and their media fools get you down.
Great advice, but a disclaimer: my grandfather was a military presidential aide (in the WH, two presidents) and House liaison (USAF), among many other things..., and so I did extremely well at refraining from this thread for it all, please realize.
Cool, Flo! My Father was a B17 pilot in WWII and my mother was heavily involved in conservative politics at local and national levels... And I didn't want to make a new threade or high jack a surf related thread so you and Chavez gave me a chance to brag about my son who is graduating from US Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, GA Thursday morning! He's protecting us kooks and our right to vote as we see fit.
Extend my congratulations to him, and tell him that I said well done, please. Small world and getting smaller every day...curse of the net. My grandfather was a B-17 pilot and instructor, as well, and my grandmother was a chemical research analyst (rocket propulsion) for AFOSR, among other things... Which theatre was your grandfather, please?
Congrats for your son--I know I said so before. And to you as well. Here is one for you and Flo.....my dad was in the Army Signal Corp during WWII, Pacific Theater. He was General McArthur's radioman (one of several)...."General, HQ calling!!" as he hands him the radio......
He was a member of the 8th Air Force, 91st Bomb Group (323rd Squadron) piloting a B17G, named the "Out House Mouse", in the European Theater. Flo... I'm an olde soule! Not as olde as Barry though My father was a pilot! Thanks for the kind words Barry and Flo.
Nice, gentlemen. The post I made about our family arriving here in 1610 is legit (I do not make things up, like Ms. Clinton...) too much history...it is the net, afterall..., lol Interesting Barry. My father... CB, there is a possibility that our grandfather's crossed paths. That was USAAF (most do not realize that USAF had yet to be formed...most were quickly discharged afterwards, while others remained to form USAF.) As for age, I am probably younger than both of you, and I know, without doubt, that I look it (trait in our family).
Congrats CB. My pops was in the Air Force and my uncle was the 2nd in command of a nuclear sub. I was in the USMC reserves. The Rangers are top notch.
First presidential election results: Trump 32, Clinton 25 http://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article113206968.html
If the results from these three tiny towns in New Hampshire mean anything, we may have a Trump presidency in January. Voters in the three villages, each with less than 100 residents, cast their ballots shortly after midnight Eastern time. While Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton won the vote in two of those communities, she trails her Republican challenger, Donald Trump, 32-25. Dixville Notch, N.H., the smallest of the three communities with eight registered voters, announced its results live on CNN. Clinton received four votes to Trump’s two. One person voted for Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson, and one wrote in Mitt Romney. The other two communities with midnight voting in New Hampshire are Hart’s Location and Millsfield, USA Today reported. The Hart’s Location website says Clinton won there by 17 votes to 14 for Trump. Millsfield, however, went strongly for Trump by 16 votes to 4, according to Wall Street Journal reporter Reid J. Epstein, who watched the polling there and posted a photo on Twitter. One person in Millsfield wrote in Bernie Sanders.
Barry stop lying. We know it was YOU who fought for the US in World War One. Your father must have fought in the Crimean war. Tell us what it was like at the battle of the Somme.
