Since I love traveling and surfing a lot I had the idea of a surf travel community - meet, surf and stay with local surfers: http://www.meetsurfers.com I am trying to spread this idea in forums and blogs since there is no budget for that site (> student). This is not a bad idea. Similar to couchsurfing.org (ironic name) that my son used when he traveled through Spain 2 years ago. Just got to make sure there's some kind of background check. Not quite sure how they do the background info. on couchsurfing.
