Hi, I'm new to this thread, been looking for a forum where I can ask questions about surfing and decided to go with this one. I made the mistake of posting something on here without introduction, forgive me I've never made an account on a forum before I usually only use them for research. I'm ass at surfing so I'm hoping the internet can change that.

You can ask any question you want, just don't expect an answer. With only one exception (me), this whole crew is insane. They forget to take their antipsychotic meds every day, leading to some crazy replies. They pretend to know a lot, but they are all morons. BTW, are you male or female?? Because if you are a female, you will get a lot of questions about YOUR ass. But if you are a male, bringing up ass is kinda verboten. Except for MIS, he goes either way....
Thanks Barry Cuda, I'm a guy btw. Just wanted to know if I were going to start surfing down in south florida (waves are usually crap here) what kind of bored should I look at. I've longboarded a small amount of times and not really a fan. I'm looking for something small and fun I can ride on 2-3ft waves.
Ok. Just remember this--when you are starting to surf, with little experience, flotation is your friend!! Buy a bigger board (you define "bigger"), then later on, once you are surfing, trade it in for one you can now handle. Other that that, have fun.

(Btw- he is kinda right about the forum, kinda) Anyways- what kind of bored should you get? I personally would suggest a longbored- I know it's not what you want to hear- but your learn quicker, specially in 2-3 ft waves (that's tiny- it would be hard to ride a shortbored in them waves- even for a seasoned pro) Anyways- if you must have the shortbored (like a lot of beginners who soon learn that our advise it correct- and trade in for a bigger bored)- get a board with a lot of beef- thus a lot of floatations - just like Barry said. Hope you find your bored and catch some waves!
You need a Roy Stuart Wooden Wonder Dong. They will catch any wave even an ankle high one. Then after you cut your chops with that board you can meet Wayne at his van and he will give you a free board if you get on your knees and pray to his nut sack.
