Hello thread

To all dear swellers and swellerines,
It was recently brought to my attention that the rule of proper concourse here, in order to become reputable and perhaps even notorious, as custom on many a fine scarcely populated island, is to engage the whole tribe in dance, and try the weird stew the local shaman calls "kuanhala-ba"
Now, since I already tried Mexican crickets this year, they taste like salty sweet bacon if grilled well, I'm gonna go ahead and sit down for a while.
That being said, my name is Max, I live in Brooklyn NY, and come out to surf in rockaway. It's a B of a drive, but nothing too bad and def worth it every single time...which happily has been often enough so far.
Since I have started reading this fine forum, topics like haters of the year awards and random things people put in their mouths seemed like I have found a lot of like minded people. I too wonder about many of such things... Often.
So here it is, I welcome you all into my otherwise somewhat tomyselfness and hope you do the same in return.
This being said, I wish you all a good day, looks like the Suns out, hopefully I'll be out of work with enough time for a few hours in the water.

I'm still in my first year anyway, so... Rockaway works for me.
I'll start long distance expeditions when I feel comfortable enough and move on to a smaller, more travel friendly stick.

 

Hey dude, my first choice was denied for inappropriate words... So to the best of my recollection I used phonetics and Jacks rested rye. Swellin is a process of growing magnitude of swell to reach the swollen state.
There was this one time this aitalian chick from a local surf school went into the white mush to rinse after a session. got her top picked right off. A few things were swellin that day.
