Hello! New to SI forum. Male, 26, New Orleans. Surf every now and then. Florida panhandle when I'm off work and the waves are "good". Probably moving to CT soon, going to need advice from you New Englanders on wetsuits for this winter. Thanks and great to meet all yall.
'Wetsuites' Do your research on the Forume. Dog avatar is ok, the moniker 'scoopy' as in scooping up cat chiiite has to go.
I guess you did good on starting a hello threade! And yes- the propere spelling is wetsuite I can help you out... I will try to be nice. Some of the other... Well idk you kinda gotta pay your dues or something... Here are my suggestions: 1. Move to Belmar- the waves are just better 2 yes you will require a thicke wetsuite. A 5/4/3 for winter- or even a 6/5/4. Make sure the hood is attached. Seshday.com has good deals. 6 to 7 mil boots and 5 mil lobster claw gloves is the norm. 3. A 3/2 will come in handy too.. If you have money a hooded 4/3 is nice too.. Welcome to swellinfo.com
Have you ever been with a woman? Did you take pictures? Can we see them? Do you have any cock pics? Do you love God? Why are you moving to Connecticut? What are your favorite STD's and why? Have you ever gotten into the barrel tube? Key thing to know about New England is sand reconne. Have you every reconnede? If you answered yes or no to any of these questions, you should seriously consider taking your own life. Go to a truck stop and blow people to death. Like until you die. And keep a journal and tell me how you died because I kinda wanna write your story afterwards. Pick three random people on this forum and beef with them. Forever.
Tell us about the surf around NOLA, I've always been curious about that area. Moving from New Orleans to Connecticut sounds kinda like moving from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City.
Thanks man, good to meet ya. Figured my 3/2's would be good for summer. Hooded 6/5/4? Sounds toasty. I suppose that much rubber really messes with your style at first. I appreciate the link as well.
Good one dude, took me a minute lol. Kinda referring to Grand Isle and Fourchon. Give up the goods brah.
Never gone down there to surf, but I've heard you can get lucky if conditions are just so. Gulf waves aren't ever really gonna be ideal. Way I see it, if a storms coming through or the swell's pushing the right direction, might as well go to Bama or Florida where they have decent sand bars, white beaches, and clean water. Also girls in bikinis as opposed to grubby fishermen. Wave faces with a storm in the gulf can be overhead plus. Winter swells normally roll up waist to head high and aren't common.
6/5/4 is good if you're a () Get a good 5/4...I get by on that and 7m gloves and boots all wintere...S N down to sub 20* air and 32* watere.:.only gets kinda cool when the wind starts howelling and cloudy in feb And btw, go kill urself
