so many surfers in my town. lots of republicans. see 'em everywhere. except the surfing beach.
there is a surfing coach at the local high school who hasn't longboarded (!!!!!!!!!!!) since the 80's.
last week he bragged to the local paper that he didn't need to surf to teach surfing. one really can't
make this stuff up.

 

By definition a republican lives independently from govt assistance (or at least thats the goal).

Sounds every bit like a surfer's life to me…freedom from the need of others.

A real surfer doesn't beg.
