They tabled it. over 3200 signatures on the petition to stop the ordinance, so the town backed down for now https://www.change.org/p/deal-mayor...I&utm_source=petition_update&utm_medium=email
Hell, I would have voted all your "poor" surfers out!!! OUT, I said!! Make some mopey....then you get admittance!!
lol that's a good one,iv seen some of the houses there, have a garage bigger than my house.their sheds are probably bigger than my house if they have those.i have no idea who lives in those houses,i think they are really just summer homes on the shore, like there isn't such a thing as "locals" on that block.and I could only imagine what their everyday houses look like.so yea no parking all year so when I come through in the summer I don't have to find parking, not like my driveway has room for 8 cars and another 10 can fit in the garage,i don't want to see Hondas and ford focuses on my blocke!!!
Just wanted to follow up... here's an article on NJ.com: http://www.nj.com/monmouth/index.ss..._highlights_lengthy.html#incart_2box_monmouth
This is a prime example of how a group of ragtag surfers can organize and prevail against a posse of douchebags. I highlighted something from the article as a gentile reminder to us all: The fight is not over' After the announcement that the ordinance was placed on hold, the creator of the online petition, Andrew Chambarry, declared it was a "small victory." "The fight is not over," the attorney from Asbury Park proclaimed. "We must stay vigilant and raise awareness so that this will never happen again."
