Correct, I dont know about you all, but I don't like to view a bunch of content that just gets in the way. So, its much simpler and cleaner without signatures. Plus, some people just use the signatures as a way of spamming.

 

This user is probably just a spammer anyway.

Seems like everyone is paranoid on here now. Admins said keeping it clean and having a police force on here would bring in new memebrs then when one joins you think he's a spammer?

Why would you assume that? I actually wondered about the signatures last month too. Every other forum I am on has signatures so it is natural to think this one would. I would not think he would go to the trouble to add an avatar if he is a spammer but hey I may be wrong like when I thought the mods were keeping Roy's spam off here

The forum gets hit by spam bots every day. Around 10-30+ spam bots hits every day, most of which gets filtered out. First posts like this, can often be a spam bot trying to get initial access. But, please excuse me if its not.

A spam bot is not like a normal person looking to promote their business. A spam bot is a simulated computer process that hacks into the forum to post links and hope to get people to click through for whatever they have on the other side of the link.
