I had no idea it was even out there. And I'm no scientician. BUT ... a quick glance at the SI Cane chart reveals that winds are only at 40 mph. Plus, it looks like it's nearly a thousand miles away.

It does seem to be hovering out there, which would be great for us if it was a beast of a storm. But it's a lil guy and it's way out there. Anything you saw today was probably from local pressure systems. No reason to complain dude, I had a blast of a sesh today and your buoy looked even better.

I wondered the same thing. I didn't think we would get anything epic, but I thought we would get something.

It takes few days for the weak waves it produces to reach your polluted joisey shores, you morons.
Do the math, it is very easy for those of us that do not rely on a GED to prove the presence of a trace of IQ.

Instead of praying & begging there's a couple of SI viruses that could be sacrificed & would get better results.

Ain't no ground swell though..Doug wouldn't like that anyways..you know the periods be too long

But hey none of yous come rolling up to this spot...there's been sharks lurkin'..if you can't bust a reverse air you will definitely be eaten

Yeah, I would say we both are, rad. Hope you get some soon. I went out this morning and waves were underwhelming. I did go out with some friends (later than usual) and crowds were a pain. Waist high waves and all of New England was there. Anyway, enjoy your weekend.

Radbad- it was chest to almost head hi this morning - glassy, peeling and fun (hi tide, not much barrel). Last night was the same. Where have you been?

Maybe that Hudson channel messed up the waves up north- idk...

we got some 3 footers coming in for an hour tomorrow in the pm,nomoco.that's the biggest swell I seen since july lol,no joke.hopefully it works, says its 1.7ft in morning,3.0ft at 3pm,and 2.7ft at 6pm.so theres a very small window,if it happens.sure hope so I havnt been in the water since july

oh yea btw, theres sharks everywhere.from sandy hook down to Manahawkin.seems like they got bigger too, mostly sandsharks, all I know is that's the only thing im catching 30 yards offshore from the beach, and its all my buddies near the varazano are catching, and the same shyt down in Manahawkin my buddys catchin
