Hey bro- nah I didn't go but everyone is there and it's all set up! I'm kinda over all that... I just like to surf, you know? It was really good this morning- outta no where , chest hi and clean ... And peeling! I surfed south of the contest... You know the spot... I think tomorrow morning will be good again, I'm thinking all day will be good- but probably best with the wind in the morning
I went down for a bit and was surprised how goood it was. Chest high and super clean. I brought the kid with me so I couldn't get out and it was illing me
I built a sand castle because the waves were too scary. It was waist-chest+ Friday and Saturday. I had a blast, and it looks like some more fun little waves today. The further north you go in NJ, the more sheltered you are from swell. Get in the vehicle and find some waves.
I went down to the shore and I poo'ed in my pants when I saw waves ankle high, much bigger than I an used to. After all, this is New Hampshire , center of the surfing world
scoreee.. if you were in south jersey most spots chest+ offshore tubular pittage... hope yall got some
Swell in jersey this weekend had nothing to do with Henri. The swell never even got more than 8 seconds Local windswell.
I gotta try that next swell... Call it better somewhere else and hope to thin the crowds at my local. Brilliant... For the record, the swell peaked during the high tide hours up here, but there were still some solid chest to shoulder high sets making it through. Kinda fat, but that's what fish are for.
can u elaborate on that one.never heard that before, but I know some days it shytty up north and il see pictures of ocean county going off.i don't think it gets as hollow as it does up north tho.could be wrong,i rarely venture south.too many traffic lights in all those beach towns,25mph speed limit, cars parked sideways lol.I just hop on the highway to the hook/sb area.the hook is awesome in the winter, its like a ghost island,i can see some car people going there to race and fly into the bay lol.whole different atmosphere from summer
