No way man! Those shark nets are warrantied for life (on materials and craftsmanship) Belmar is the safest place to surf. Plus the biggest waves around. Don't forget about the artificial reef!
That's because most Jews are not really athletic enough to surf.... And you usually don't find sharks in an accountants office...
During the winter I put LED lights on my board and surfing into the night. (didn't work as well as I thought it would) It felt really eerie, don't think I would do it now. LOL
http://www.accuweather.com/en/weath...a-east-coast-warm-water-beach-threat/48953405 Water has been above average temp here, very early on in the season. We saw around 88F water temps 1-2 weeks ago. The recent rain has brought it back to the mid 80's, but we don't usually see near 90F water temps till august.
Surfed Monmouth in AM then was chillin with friends drinking brews on beach at driftwood beach club after it went onshore. I was there from noon to 5 so best guess on time the shark made its appearance was between 2-4 ??? It reminded me of jaws when the beachgoers went all chaos mode....
"In most of the cases of shark attacks, the victims are bitten in their extremities because the sharks didn't see clearly and confused a human limb for actual prey.".......what type of prey does a human limb look like???eel?
