You have some valid points, for sure. I thought about it and figured that being policed (or policing ourselves mo betta) would lend to a healthier and more enjoyable experience. Then I thought about it some more and came to the conclusion that the reason many of us are so committed to this site is because of exactly what it is: a site that's 99% Unfiltered with little to no moderation so we can all let our hair down to a certain degree. The best thing that has happened, other than making new electronic social friends, is the fact that no matter how much salty language has been used in disagreement, that everything settled down before it got violent or weirder. That's a line that should never be crossed, and these members have made sure it never went there. The big ? out of all this current chutzpah (yeah, I said it) is if this site is better suited to "survive" in its current fashione, or whether homogenizing it into a kinder gentler and friendlier site would be best for it's longevity. Things are moving quickly.
