    2 questions. When looking at the graph for potential wave heights, what do the different colors of the line represent? Any idea why I usually have a problem loading the mid town oc md cam?:confused:

    red= choppy
    blue= semi choppy
    green= clean

    but I don't understand any of the mixed colors...like the light reds, or aqua blues...what are they about?

    this is one of the more confusing things on Swellinfo, and I have plans on redoing this. The color of the timelines are matched to the primary swell category. So, if you click on the "view details" button on the bottom left of the surfplots, you will see the swell data divided into 6 categories/colors. The color you see in the timeline represents the primary swell.

    Make sense?

    Thanks that clarifies things a bit, but you did not address my issue with the surfcam. It only works about 50% of the time. It says something along the line of 'url not found.....'
    Also, Are you guys thinking about any cams in DE? Perhaps around the IR inlet or tower rd.

    Hey I had the same problem with the cam thing too. I use firefox and all I did to change it was download the newest version of Java which isnt that huge of a deal. Or it also works when i use internet explorer. But if you just download the newest version of Java player it should work fine.

    the camera is not hosted by Swellinfo, and often does not connect when there is a lot of traffic going to it. So, if the camera stream does not come up, it is because the camera server is too busy. I have been talking to the owner of the camera and they are going to try to improve the performance.

    Sometimes, clicking refresh will do the trick, and other times, you just have to wait a bit.
