Hey you...yeah you, youse guys with the board questions......c'mere.

I've noticed that alot of y'all(it's ok I used to live in NC - I can say "y'all") have questions about boards.......you know, surfing boards. Yes, I'm very observant, nothing gets by me. HAHAHAHAHA....ahhhh HAHAHHA.

Anyway I have a humble suggestion. Instead of asking a board related question on this here site and getting a different answer from every different respondant, try hooking up with a local shaper. Find a trusted, respected shaper in your area and form a relationship with him/her(notice I'm not sexist gals). They should know your area and the waves that bombard or meekly roll through it. This helps throw business to the local shaper/guru dude and it helps defeat the terrorists. It will also make dolphins happy. Dolphins hate mass produced, computer shaped boards. They just hate them.

Keeping the art of surfboard shaping alive rests with YOU. Buy from a shaper who shapes by hand and has a loving relationship with your board. Do your part to bring back U.S. manufacturing.......Stop Buying Crap Produced In Bad Countries. I know it's hard to find wetsuits that aren't produced in bad countries but we'll work on that next. For now, support your local shaper.....buy local........ahhhhh local shapers, ummm could you give me $ 5 per board that you sell......Thanks dudes

 

Please people.....I don't like to complain nor do I think I control what goes on here, unlike a bunch of y'all, but enough of the board questions. Please start a relationship with a local shaper. They need the business and support. Stop buying the big national brands just because your favorite pro surfer dude is sponsored by them. Lets end the whole corporate hold on everyday surfing. Hell with Owen Wright. And jeez so many of these dudes are so spoiled they won't even do the tour. They want their cake and eat it too. Buy local. Your local shaper needs beer and from what I've heard Manco & Manco's is really pricey these days. Thank you.
