Ahh, got it now. I'm familiar with the MREs. One must have a certain mindset when reading posts from sandblasters and be ready to insert missing letters or discard extra ones. For a second, I thought he meant that he'd been eating "mares" nonstop and I was next going to ask him why he went to the all-horse diet.
Ok, bro well now we are addressing it properly. Everyone gets a mulligan. We can expect to hit Chuckton late November of 2014 and will look forward to it.
i went from softop first timer to longboard beginner and found the "real" fiberglass board way less stable even though the softop was 8' and fiberglass board was 9'6". i think the softops kinda sink in a little in the middle and makes it more stable when you pop up, the fiberglass board not so much.... so the longest board you can get will definitely make the adjustment easier when moving from the softop.
I've been noticing several pre-2010 members posting up lately. If you're heading up an alumni recruitment campaign I am all for it. Would love to see the prequels that made this circus come to be.
My other, other hobby. She's almost done, got her purring, lines back, one wet sand away from paint. When I first got her. She was in tough shape. Sapling on the roof did some damage. Rust here and there. This will be finished product, except matte black and white. Same scheme though
And the wheels. I'm going 6" widened steelies, staggered, full moons. I like modern wheels on beetles, but I'm trying to keep some retro feel to it. Bit like that right thurr, but not 'stanced'. Crazy fab work, way too much time for my liking.
Hahaha. No man I mentioned it in another thread. Sort of introducing my other hobby I suppose. I do like showing her off a bit, got some serious time into her. Labor of love there, although that roof gave almost made me hate her.
Gaff, ask him to let us know when he catches his first wave. Great snowboarder and wakeboarder so he'll be shredding in no time.
Whoaaa, the special snowflake follows suit. Would you like some stripes for the new post captain obvious? It was cute the first time with the other guy (and we all saw the verbal tongue lashing subsequently following the such). New material man, nobody likes a comedian that gaffs another routine. I can make a list of the most obvious things you could use, just so you can come up with something semi original. Ready? 1) Clueless about surfing 2) Asking too many questions 3) Being too forward/talking too much, might look like I'm trying hard (although I'm just poking my head around getting a feel for it, there's a douche to solid ratio of 2:7) 4) Relating other board sports to surfing I'll let you know when I catch that wave. You're #1 on my list bud, don't you worry about that. I'll give you a play by play so you can dissect those too. When do I get my approval letter? Do I need a fiberglass custom and 700 dollar wetsuit first? Or do I need a shark story? Let me know, I'm dying for your approval, I'll wake up in cold sweats knowing you're not thinking about me.
So just stop trolling. You're making comments because I shared a few pictures of a car. Are you like this in person too or is this interweb bravado a front? Most people are super hard behind a computer.
I have yet to talk or act hard this whole time. I'm no front, don't act any different in person. I also haven't picked a single fight.
