This is the best time of year for comps! I'm glad the world title is so tight right now--makes everyone surf at 110%. On another note, I heard something interesting from the commentators just a couple minutes ago when they were talking up HIC: There is no such thing as bad waves, only bad equipment and bad attitudes.
Wow. pretty profound for a surf commentator... haha just kidding. They're right though. As long as you're having fun, that's all that really matters in the end.
