Hi, My son is in H-lulu and I'd like to buy him gift credit at a surf shop there for Christmas. Any recommendations for a creditable shop? I've never been there. Thanks!
best shop for what? boards? clothes? Why not just get him a prepaid credit card and let him spend it on what he wants?
Well, that's a good thing too, but he will be too practical with it. He won't buy himself, you know, like a 'present' or something. I want him to get something that I know he would like but would never buy it for himself. I mean, maybe he would, but it would be only afer a long list of necessities were taken care of first. And yes, I was thinking of a shop with clothes - surfwear and such. Any help would be appreciated. And if it would seem like the endorsement doesn't belong in a forum, then a PM would be great. No problem, Quicksilver, Hawaiian Island Creations, Local Motion, Honolua, Town and Country and Billabong (some gear, mostly clothes) all have flagship stores in and nearby honolulu. I'm sure it would be pretty easy to look them up online and give them a call to secure a gift card.
