sorry aboutt he all caps, but i'm super excited that the summer's "official" end has arrived, taking w/ it the obnoxious masses when it goes today. yes, i know they'll be back on the weekends, but the town will be blessedly quieter during the week now. & even those weekend crowds will gradually decline as spet. moves into oct. & fall tightens it's grip on "the shore".

    i can't friggin' wait!!

I don't about Ocean City, but "Local's summer" started in the north end of LB yesterday. Uncroweded peaks and fun waist to chest waves!

Yep Summer is over . Pretty soon it will be fall , best time of year. Fall sessions are the best , Surfing Pumkin pie, and indian summers. Nothing is better after surfing on a sunday and then going home to drink some beer and watch the Eagles get it handed to them LOL!

i'm really glad to get my post-school relatively empty line-ups back...i expect crowded weekends up thru november or so. i'm just waiting for that first really good sept. or oct. swell to take my first day off of school to surf all day alone!

after the bizarre-ness of this weekend, & the summer in general, i'm really glad to see the back of this year's shoobies. seems like there was a lot more bad behavior than in the past. i think everyone needs to be reminded of the "golden rule" we all (should have) learned growing up: do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

Once the water cools down 5-10 degrees they'll be gone till May. Now that's what I'm waiting for.
