Their forecast has been on the money many times last year for me...from what I see it is on the mark..if you spend enough time at beach you'll see many of not all sites are 100% appearantly this is impossible.. Example... Last summer a typical flat 1 ft forecasted by everyone... So across the board I almost didn't bring my bodyboard... Glad I did either I hit a ride change or wind Chang or sets of an underwater earthquake deep in the Atlantic but I rode some waist high glassy swells for over an hour...
You chiiiill you little turd sucker. If you like Surfline so much go pay and be a cool ass premium member. Otherwise shut de fuk up about SI. Like was already said this is a free site and ain't nobody forcing you to check it. Yes the forecast changes as the models used to predict them seem to default to chest or so high when it is farther out and become accurate about 48 hours or so before the swell arrives. You need to wake up and learn to use all the data available. Like Pump said start the way we did it back before the web and get a weather radio. THen learn to read buoy reports and wind reports and you too can forecast waves with out *****ing about a site that Micah puts up for FREE. Now go to Surfline and check out some instagram pics of the pros you dream to be like douche nozzle.
Dear junior, Ohhhh you fell for that old trick! Yea swell info will do that- they will predict the swell will be good in a few days..so you take off work... Then check back and the swell drops. It's all a ploy. You know, a conspiracy to create more web traffic in swellinfo.com Ok surfs up dude!
LOL, the Total Truth. How many of us have "partaken" and then got Yard Sale'd on the very first wave? Me, lots.
Me lots too. Hey, I've known dudes that could do it, but not me. Hell, Santana did Woodstock on acid. Whatever works.
From Main to Joisey to Florida(both sides) to California and Hawaii, and shiite, even in Texas we got bros that rely on this here sight. And we all say the same thing....its pretty damn accurate. The weather does change, the wind does change, and so the forecast changes. You can't shoot the messenger though. Keep using it and keep comparing...you'll see.
me too. i used it before the other surfers knew what it was. for a while there my nick-name was "accu-wave." then 'progress' erased that.
Yeah nat, but 1 ft @ 4 secs. with 20 mph S winds for weeks straight is pretty hard to fvck up. BTW, congrats on Post #623...and counting.
