hey, would anyone on here find it worth making the trip to Fort Tilden in Rockaway to see a surf punk show with horror and surf movie projections on oct 26th?…in the spirit of Halloween of course. would be cool to have people actually from the surf community who are into that kind of s**t (like in the movies during the beach party scenes). trying to decide if its too late in the season for people to make the trek to Rock for a show….even if theres no swell, but would be pretty rad if there was. 4pm-7pm time frame. perfect for after a session….for those of you that surf around here. <br /><br />btw, Long Island was insanely good the first half of the day today….just had to throw that out there. Rockaway looked like all shore pound closeouts after the sand replenishment, which actually made for super fun shortboard waves on the east end of Rock for a good few weeks…now it seems to have gotten a bit fu**t.
