Them offshore winds today. SE winds by 11am. Its happens so often that its predictable. I called it last night. So why does it still piss me off every time? If you didn't get on it before 10:30am stop stressing because its sloppy crap right now. Swell info could you shed some light on this rarely predicted by oft occuring phenomenon? And why does no one factor into a forecast? Warm day+cold ocean = local onshores! Maybe before dark? Maybe. My suggestion for the weekend warrior..... get on it early tomorrow!
ya, the wind data just isn't that good for the microscale sea breezes. I knew the sea breeze would kick in. This will change when we encorporate an upgrade to the wind data - before june.
It seems that any area near delaware bay in early winter and early spring is never what forecast call's for, I've been in O.C and winds are offshore get near the delaware bay and the winds are north.
