did u feel let down when he ate them? it seems like you might have made a 'connection' on a mental level to the seals in a personal sort of way, via talking to them.

yr japanese friend seems like mean person. i dunno.

i wish baby seals would talk to me but i think they are scared of my lips.

 

The water in the Rockaway's is dirtier than a craigslist call girl. There's a wastewater treatment plant on 105th street that pumps "partially treated" human waste into the ocean pretty much daily. Whenever there's enough swell to move the water around brown foam that smells like the bathroom at the Vince Lombardi Rest stop covers the water surface. I get sinus infections and head colds pretty much every time I surf (which is every time there are waves) and I just started pulling bloody schwagg gnar gnar out of my left ear. Before moving to NYC I surfed south Jersey and that water is pretty nasty too. I doubt the water really gets clean till you get north of New Hampshire or south of Virginia. But whatever, what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger (or much much weaker).
