How do I catch a striper?

    So true... It doesn't take much water to float even a 20 or 30lb striper. Sometimes a hog bass will be right behind the shorebreak at a beach with a steep drop off. Between the sandbars, like H2O said, where there's some steady water flowing, is often the most consistently productive part of the beach, and can hold several bass in the "schoolie" size.

    if your throwing a popper, give it a second before you real it in. sometimes they just attack the splash.
    also to reels jig two reels jig. mke it look like a hurt fish.
