There was a nice sandbar at parking lot B, I surfed alone for 4 months, only had to battle the fishermen. Then one day a nice guy joined me, next time i went, 6 fairly nice people were on the peak, they shared a bit, it was fun...next time, 30 a-holes, yelling, screaming, pissin & moaning...some were real good surfers, most of them said it was there home break, most also said that i was a Kook, (which is certainly true, look at my name), then a few months later, the sand bar dissipated and so did everyone else.

Enjoy it whilst u have it.

Wow....some of you live 2,3 hours from the beach??
    What a bunch of kooks.
You can't be "surfers". Maybe "highway surfers", but definitely NOT surfers.
You might as well move to Iowa, or worse yet.....Vermont.

Yet another tread doomed to stooopidity from burry's giggling lil troll fest over his old man extended morning dump whilst perusing his Manchester Union Leader.

Have a nice 3 hour drive!! You sound like Gilligan on a "3 hour tour".......
    Bwahahahahahaha!!!!!
Man...that is long. You could actually fly to PR and surf Rincon in the same amount of time, more or less. Are you going there this year, yank?

Live near Boston - so 1:15-1:30 to RI or NH, less to north shore or south shore spots.

Just my opinion...but no way he can get to the beach in 3 hours! It's just not possible...

Doesn't bother me & I have very rarely complained about it. No one is responsible for one's station in life except oneself.

State of mind, burry. Stay positive & things flow nicely. Go all negative & whiny about stuff & you end up as.....well, you end up as you. bwahahahaha! indeed
You & the 80 mph chickencoop are fixated/obsessed with my travel times.

You're merely regurgitating what I put in my original post, burry; meaning, as I noted, it's sometimes more efficient to just jump on a plane: consistent waves, warm water, et. al. ad nauseum.

On the list this year: SJU, BGI, LIR (multiple trips), Chicama, OBX, many wknds / various weekdays at TPTSNBN & OCMD as well as an autumnal jaunt to Europe.

Are you able to leave New England this year for good waves or does the 350 lb sumo who calls you hubby have you on lockdown with its honey do list, tuff guy?

5 miles. I'd be a lot closer if I had more $$. Priced out of NJ beach towns unless i want to live in those towns that are the ghetto or live in a tiny home with literally no yard.

Headed to CR March with a few friends. Cannot make up my mind to take my board or just rent a piece of crap there. I suppose I will decide when I know what the swell is doing. PR was getting a swell yesterday, but the swell direction was crappy causing close-outs at the principal breaks. Not enticing, other than the warmth of the waters.

You need to look up definition of "obsessed". Then look up "moron".
Then you need to learn to read--I never asked about his residence, littledikky.

It does look nice for sure. That was yesterday; first half of the video seemed to either Marias or Domes, hard to tell.

Gracias for the positivo props 5446. You guys who live close to the ocean, I got nothing but kudos to y'all for making that happen for yourselves.

Will do on the pm, coop.

burry, if you rent in CR, beware the lightly-glassed-rental-board scam, and bring thine own string & leash unless you like swimming in through rips when the rental gear dissolves.

Thanks for heads up. Will keep it in mind. Wave size will determine if I bring my own; head high and up and my Byrne is coming with me.
