He is completely correct. Guinness is not what I would consider hard core. Try storm king imperial stout to get wild.

    Aint that the truth!
lawyer - $500 - he was my old pop warner coach (must have given me a discount)

Breathalyzer analysis (studies proving the smith n wessan breath test could have .02 margin of error) - $500
( i was 19 so .0000000001 on my breath would have resulted in a dui charge, i dont know why my lawyer made me do that)

    court fines - $560

    $1,000 a year for 3 years

    Insurance - Through the roof

    Counceling - $60 a trip - i was recomended for 1 month once a week

    IDRC (intoxicated driver resource center) - $200 - $300

Riding a bike around for 7 months (90 days in my case)

the worst of all by far - looking your parents in the eys and telling them how ****in stoppid you are!

    that was about $6,000

epic finish. oh and stoney, had the storm king a few days ago. great pick that night lol. yeah since i am in college on a sports team, we tend to be competitive in everything including drinking. i can throwback over a dozen drinks and be perfectly fine. for me its all about how quickly i drink moreso than how much when it gets up there

why would I lie about it? 7-8 light beers is not that much, especially since I am a 200 lb. athlete. whatever, don't believe me, I don't really care.

nah dude. i believe where you are at, especially with your weight/fitness. athletic people tend to end up with a "natural tolerance" due to fast metabolism (meaning the beers flow through your system fast), which helps in my case

I'll tell you one thing, when I do drink I remember why I usually don't. I'm gradually getting more and more tired of hangovers.

yeah towards the end of my drinking I would give myself alcohol poisoning evertime. Blackout everytime, I just couldn't have a couple. It was all or nothing. I do enjoy waking up every morning refreshed and not having to deal with the "aftermath". Missed soooo many dawn patrols. Going to be at like 3:30 wasted telling myself how good it would be in the morning and I would be up at 6 to hit it. Yeah right! Woke up at like 1 or 2 everytime and missed everything... Then too sick to even go out for an afternoon sesh. What a waste.

I've made a pact with myself never to let partying interfere with the shred. with that policy, i'm always on-point...

Good move. I do the same thing and its not always easy, but its always worth it. I'll drink the night before work, not the night before shred. :D

I mean, I'll have a few drinks with the boys before a day of surf, but nothing too over the top. Of course, sometimes it pops off and you gotta do what you gotta do...
The night before work, ahh how it sucks but so neccesary. Just don't be like my dumb a$$ and stay out till 1:30 when you gotta be up at 6 like I did last night :(
I'm holdin it down right now at work, so it's def. all good. can't do this crap all the time tho..

Haha, I recently went out for someone's birthday until 3AM on a week night. Had to use a half day the following day. That's really rare for me though.
