Nothing screams summer pro like suiting up at your car but bringing a bag and leaving it on the beach while you surf. Except walking from your car to the ocean leashed up.

I have to constantly fight an urge to throw every unattended bag I see on the beach in the drink. Every one.
    Thanks pitted

It never ceases to amaze me how lazy and entitled some people can be. Pretty sure it's 1) I paid $xxxx amount for my week at the shore and 2) I had to pay to use the beach and can leave my schit wherever I damn well please.

This is not limited to NJ, this is everywhere I've been in the world. something something something human virus

Letting others be responsible for you sheet is last thing you want to do, and not right.
One day while trying to enjoy some time at the beach with the wife, we watched as a group of five girls ripped into their brunch. The seagulls were watching also. When they were done, they decided to go for a walk, leaving their waste behind, unattended. Of course the gulls saw a golden opportunity and started to pull their whole campsite apart and had garbage all over in a matter of seconds. Not being the one to let his go on, like other observers, chased the seagulls and proceeded to pick up the mess. When I went to sit back down, I noticed that a couple of girls had been watching, giggling and taking pictures of the tenacious gulls. This pissedmeoff, so I walked up to them and told them where they would find the garbage can.
I just got a baffled look of course maybe because they didn't understand Englishe.
I was ready to throw them all in,but that would have been a waste of time.

I'm not a lifeguard, but I did shake my head at that comment. The person tasked with keeping any eye on people in the water should NOT be bothered with watching your cell phone and $8 in your wallet.
