I would tell every single one of my clients to blow me. I don't think I would last very long.

Smoking before work has given me the ability to repeatedly take it, day in & day out. With a smile.

I've withstood many 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. "shifts" entertaining wife and wife's annoying sister's family (bratty kids). More annoying and stressful than most days on my job. Alcohol rate to achieve tolerance without incoherence is about 1 - 1.5 beers/per/hour.

The actual paying job would be the same.

I've often thought about how I would do if I was a cook for a living. Shoot, I can cook for a crowd of 20 at my house drunk as a skunk. Not burgers and dogs, but good sh**.

I would probably do ok on the three beer buzz....after that, I would be on SI calling Barry out on his shenanigans all day.

I work with sharp pointy things so a little buzz would be okay but drunk could be disasterous. Many years ago I worked stoned at my job and became second in command of the business. Me and a couple others kept the level up throughout the day by leaving a little something on the windowseal in the bathroom. Apparentally one day the owner was actually paying attention and commented on how often everyone used the restroom so we dialed it back for a couple of weeks.

Food and Bev industry alcoholism is an occupational hazard. Having said that I played a gig a couple weeks ago and have no memory after the 5th song of what we played the rest of the night. Generally I behave but we were the last band of the night after a 2 day camping/jamming/drinking binge. Had fun.

Building websites all day actually gets pretty fun when you're drunk, to a certain point at least. But the software is so easy these days I could be 6-8 beers deep and be good.

According to the report, during a flight layover in Zurich en route to Moscow "Maj. Gen. Michael J. Carey appeared drunk and, in the public area, talked loudly about the importance of his position as commander of the only operational nuclear force in the world and that he saves the world from war every day".

if I worked drunk I would probably die and cause tens of thousands of dollars in damages. The outfit I work for would not be happy about the damages but could care less if I bought it.

My job is kind of like shooting pool. A few drinks will loosen you up just fine and dandy and put you in a zone, more than that it gets too sloppy.

lol same here.i never worked drunk,as I rarely drink anymore, but working high I can do,i prefer to get high afterwork, but when one of ur coworkers asks if u want a few tokes on break its hard to say no.

I did a job with my old landlord many years ago, framing a new house.best job I ever had, only lasted a week lol,but my landlord brought a 30pack of Budweiser, donuts and coffee(before the beer) about an oz of weed.spent more time getting fukd up than actually working.

but with pot it makes u focus in and u can do precision work,if u build shyt like me
