Dudes get the handshake. My close dudes get the half bro hug shake thing. My close friends at sad times, full on hug I don't care. A close friend of mine was home the other day (he moved across the country), on his departure it was a full hug. Got another friend moving half way acrid the country in a few days. He will get a full hug to. You know what I really don't get. The kiss the check from girls. If your a close friend that's a girl it's cool with me. But Iv had girls Iv only just met kiss me on the check. It's weird. Just because we have a common friend dosn't mean you know me. Lips off skanky
Very few dudes get the bro hug... like, I can think of two. Everyone else is the simple, business-like, white guy handshake, with a firm grip, and ONE shake. And yea... I always respond to what a woman does when greeting. I never stick out my hand first, or lean in for the cheek kiss... which is most often not even a kiss. Just kind of a cheek touch thing. Weird... My own kids? I hug 'em till they squirm and fight me off.
I actually do that one to. Only with the good friends though. Also I like old school high fives, into a face swipe
