Hundreds of years ago this would have been celebrated greatly in the local community....it meant free whale oil, spermacetti, meat, etc...
A week or two prior, they were watching a couple out there feeding, I wonder if it was one of them? Yeah man, it's a shame you didn't catch it a little bigger.
