Everyone who has purchased Hurley suits from that 50% off deal a couple weeks ago! Are you guys satisfied with your suits and/or whatever you bought? I got a 3/2 and I am satisfied right now but not sure how long it will last. Neoprene seems to be pretty fragile.

    Opinions?

I always viewed hurley as a brand that is more about cloths. You see allot of pros wearing hurley suits, but it's because there sponsored. It's almost like a nascar car being all logoed out by its sponsors. With that being said Iv never owned anything hurley and have no experience with there products. This is just speculation. Never actually seen any hurley gear in the water around here, only during pro contests and what not

Got their 2 mil jacket from the sale. Not very comfortable. My cheapo Hyperflex is much more comfy.

Yeah, to be honest, in all my dealing in Southern CA, AKA the surf industry hub, I have never actually seen Hurley Suits or equipment in any of the shops... Seen hats, clothes, boardies and all that, but now that you mention it, I have never even seen them retailing. Not at Mitches, Rockies, Southcoast, OB Surf and Skate, Sun Diego, Emerald, Surf Ride.... None of them... strange... Love their boardies. And I have a sweet hurley beach backpack with a wetsuit pouch and all kinds of cool stuff that I got new From the SD Swap Meet for $10.... It acted as my "Dad Bag" when my daughter was born. Filled it with wipes, cheerios, diapers, bottles... all that. Have had it for a few years now. Been all over the place and has been solid as hell. Not even a loose seam.

Neoprene gets brittle and stiff on the rack, that's why retailers blow it out cheap to get rid of it. Solvents and petros evaporate out of it and it gets crispy. Ask anybody that gets an itchy rash from a wetsuit (sort of like a latex allergy) and they will agree wholeheartedly. It seems that even flouro lights age it -the sun most certainly does. Freshly made new stuff is always better if you can come up with the cheese. New suits are the bomb, flexy and warm from whatever manufacturer. Can never complain if you got it on sale.

this. i have a couple pairs of their boardshorts; they've treated me well & have taken a good bit of wear & tear over the 3 or 4 years i've had them. i've seen a couple of their fullsuits up close & they don't appeal & seem cheaply made...of course, i also don't think of hurley as a wetsuit company, so i'm prob. not looking at them w/ an unbiased eye, either.

It's like Fox putting their logo on Ripcurl suits or something like that. But yes, their boardies are great. I get em for 20 bucks at TJ Max and Marshall's all the time haha.

Thats the only way to fly. My wife actually found a couple pairs of Ezekiel boardies at the TJ Maxx down here and grabbed them for me. They are my favorite boardie company. I thought they were just a small brand in CA, but come to find out, I guess they have stuff in Pac Sun and all over the place.

The stretch fabric is where it's at. Hands down the best baggies are the Rip Curl Mirage line. Nothing even comes close. I have some Hurley tees and a dope hat and hoodie from the HP event at Trestles last fall that I rock on the reg, but baggies are all Rip Curl with a couple RVCA and XCEL in there too.

btw those Mirage baggies retail for 60-80$ but I've scored almost 10 pair on outlet site closeouts for 15-30$ over the months. The only closeouts we like!

Whenever I see someone wearing a Hollister surf club shirt or whatever I always say to them "oh you surf?" Real intrested like, you know like I actually care. They usually look at me weird or say no and i reply real awkwardly but politely "I'm sorry, I surf and saw your shirt so I assumed you surf to, I was going to ask if you paddled out today. Never mind". No one ever gets it except my few friends who surf, no one ever realized I'm making fun of them they just think I'm strange. But it gives me a chuckle
