The massholes are worse, which I believe, you are originally from, huh?? Put this way....nobody from MAssholia knows how to surf, even if you want to go out on a boat to a slab (which is really a sh1ty mushy frumpy wave, I am sure). You guys al think 6 ft with 8 seconds is "epic". Fvcking peanuts....
Well ive never surfed up in Mass o whateva but in north carolina here on crystal coast today it was pretty nice after tide got right.not Epic surf like some of yu guys ride but lotta fun
No problem with surfing--makes me very happy. Crowds, especially those from Massholia, are problematic. Point of interest--it is the mass holes that have moved here that always complain about quebeckers. NH people welcome the quebeckers. Massholes are the xenophobic ones, almost without exception.
Hmm. You're more likely than most on here to post racist stuff, do you not count as NH people because you moved there? Or are you the exception? You've got nothing but free time- you won't drive the two hours to RI to get some better surf today? Because of your dumb territorial reasons?
Your post reeks of liberalism, accusing others of racism; when you are defeated in a discussion bring out the racism card. In fact, my post says I do enjoy different cultures. Just not arrogant liberal massholes. My statements have zero to do with territorial issues, rather attitudes of visitors. Surfers that come here from south, ALWAYS have aggression on their minds--we take care of them.. There is NO sense in driving to RI for "better surf". It isn't better there; sooner or later what you get there, we get here, as the storms move around. I will just wait for it to come here.
I'm only accusing you of racism based on your own posts on the forum. I'm not making blanket statements about NH or MA people (or the Quebecois) - that's you. I guess I didn't make a distinction between xenophobia and racism - so your point being that you're racist but that's not relevant to this discussion because you're talking about xenophobia? The reason to go to RI today is simply because then you can surf in better waves today and then still surf in good waves on Saturday up in NH. Seeing as you have the luxury of surfing whenever, I'm surprised you'd rather sit home and troll.
the key is to follow the storm, its only a 2 hour drive. that way you get 2 fireing days instead of just an afternoon once the winds clean up.
Been there, done that. And for years. After surfing 55 years, that get s boring. I will wait for it to come to me. I have them trained...lol.
I think being able to surf almost every day there are waves, it kinda kills the desire to go chasing up and down the coast. When it's been a while between sessions, the willingness to search for waves increases. When I lived inland, I had no choice, and it was my only option at the time, so I did it every week. But now, I don't feel like driving 2hrs lol
That is very true. If I am to chase waves, I will take a plane ride, which btw, is already on the agenda, booked. New England has ZERO spots worth traveling to, actually.
I wouldn't know, never surfed in NE, but I wouldn't pass on the opportunity If I were ever in the area. I do prefer the hot Puerto Rican sand and warm Caribbean waters though.
Yup; I like it there as well, for a variety of reasons. New England has a few nice surfing spots, but even on their "epic" days, they are average breaks at best. It is not exactly a world renown surf destination. In fact, more surfers like to leave the area and move elsewhere than remain here, once they get a taste of "elsewhere". They realize that in so far as surfing, they have been butt=raped their whole lives..... It is "okay" for older guys, and those that know little or care little about surfing. Quality of life here, however, is tops, but not Massachusetts; their citizens are leaving in droves to NH, VT, Kenya, Yemen....anywhere but there....
