Hurricane Sandy improved waves?

    Although I am in Hawaii, I do have some surfer friends in NJ and they said that the waves have improved in some spots, particularly the R.I. beachbreaks. Some areas though I would imagine are worse off now because of the debris and wrecked home.

    I used to look forward to hurricane season. Now, not so much. A few of my beaches are just gone. Granted a lot of that came (or went) with nor'easters, but Sandy just took such an initial bite. She was one mean b*tch. Out of everything, though, this was by far the worst thing that came of hurricane Sandy.

    i found all kinds of new spots. better than Indo or california on the best days. dredging 7 to 14+++ barrels over exposed reef sections
