I finally am tried out my new wetsuit this past weekend and I have to say I am very pleased with it. Water was about 53, air temp about 57, miserable drizzle with light breeze.... But I have to say I was much more comfortable in my 4/3 in those conditions on Sunday for my 2 hours session than when I'm "board shortin'/rash gardin' in August with water temp around 71, with sun and air temps in the mid to high 80s. Now that I have some quality gear, I'm hooked on the off-summer surfing. I'll check back in a year or 2 to see how the Hyperflex holds up over time.
