Ive used my hyperflex amp twice and the chest panel at the lower back separated from the lower part of the wetsuit...I read the hyperflex website and it said they would fix/replace at their discresion, Do you think this would be considered a flaw in the seam which they would fix for free?...Surfing with a giant hole in the back is like adding 5 pounds to each leg with all that water haha

You used it twice and it failed. If there is no sign you abused it and they dont offer to fix it for free I would be pissed.

they should replace or repair under warranty as long as u send them a copy of your purchase recipt . They are pretty good about as long as you provide all the info they ask and are honest on how it ripped

Matt, I was gonna ask a similar question.. are they lifetime warranty? Would they repair a wetsuit that has a flawed/separated seam if you DON'T have the receipt, like if you got it used? I know some companies will repair some parts of a suit as long as you have it.

Well since I am not a "offical" represenative for Hyperflex I would say if you are not the orginal owner if the suit and dont have a reicpt they might charge you for the repair.

The best thing I would say is call them and ask. If you do a reverse ph number search with there adress you can get there PH # and ask them .

If you suit is new ECsponger they might do it as a goodwill reapair if there is not alot involved to fix it.

Best thing I could say is call them to get accurate info

Well I haven't had any split yet, just thought about it today. I have a few that look like they might go before the end of the season though. But I would rather repair them myself. Thank Matt, unofficial rep.

I called hyperflex today and they were cool about it...Siad they'd fix it and try to have it back in 2 weeks or less

fyi. I send my 4 mil quicksilver back to the warehouse in huntington beach every season and ask them to repair it.. they have sent me a brand new suit everytime. didn't need a reciept or warranty. drop it off at ur local shop and they do all the shipping free too and call u when its in. just for future reference. all the major companies will do crazy free repairs but more often than not they give u a brand new one. I know quickie and ripcurl and oniell do.
