Lugers actually takes walk ins... I've done it a few times if it was just me and my chick. Never waited too long. Just enough to get a good buzz going
I used to work with a Poliandro from Howard Beach. He told me nothing, I swear. I worked in Seattle for a small business owner who was one generation off the boat from Sicily. His father was a real rags to riches to story. Stepped off the boat with nothing in his pockets, became a very wealthy man very quick. The governor of WA and the head of the teamsters used to come visit him. Probably just wanted to play chess. His son took over the biz and was grooming me to run it. I decided to move back east. I turned in my notice and he took me to lunch to talk about a few things. I was sh*tting bricks. He busted my balls a bit but let me go. Never been so nervous quitting a job in my life!
wow lol, somehow we are all connected lol.i allegedly had some family in the mob, dont really know what to believe but they were long dead before I was born so....
got back last night. wow, what a cool place....and fvcking expensive. i am now gonna have to rob hookers before i murder them. anyways. wicked was an awesome show. i can't say enough on how awesome it was. here is what we did. the highs: 1. again wicked. 2. (dinner) da salviano's on 6th between bleeker and houston (west village). omfg that was awesome. we don't have that down here. 3. MOMA - it was pretty cool. like on an intellectual level. 4. dinner at Nippori (w 54th in front of the Gershwin Theater) wow that place is incredible. 5. bobby vann's had an amazing lobster sandwich. 6. the view from our room. at night we would sit and watch traffic at the intersection. it was kinda neat. 7. train from midtown to Washington square and back 8. the girls loved shopping in soho (me, not so much). it was still cool though. 9. every girl/woman in the village and soho is drop dead gorgeous. the not so highs: 1. cabs. all cab drivers are d!cks. (we should have used uber) 2. the france terror attacks happened and Saturday morning cops were everywhere. big paddy wagons, apc's, dudes with ar-15's at every corner. huge police presence that was not there the day before. it was a bit unsettling. 3. staying in midtown did kinda suck. we will stay way south next time. 4. gotham bar and grill on e 12th. too pricey and stuffy. not my scene. not at all.
I don't usually credit Law Enforcement, but NYC is on-point with their security. They don't truck around.
my wife was even pointing women out to me. she was like "omg look at her!" and I was like "thanks babe"
