True dat. Must have been the year Mick won I was thinking of. Mick, Taj and Joel were all right at the cusp of winning, but Kelly kept them all in check. I thought Taj finally got one. I stand corrected.

 

taj is better than mick and joel put together.been on tour long before they showed up as groms.I wonder if everyone hated parko like medina when he came on tour.parko had a mullet lol.taj is an excellent surfer but not a smart competitor,which it takes to win.

u watch slaters heats,really analyze them and u see how he wins.hell have priority,a set will come and he knows its gonna closeout so he paddles like he wants it and parko or whoever hes surfing against will take off,blow their priority,and the set after is the one.kelly isn't just a great surfer,hes the best competitor
