It's the Christmas season and some of these posts have been getting depressing, so I thought I might lighten the mood and tell you about this effed up dream I had. Seriously weird and you guys are the only people I could tell it to and have it make any sense. I was running in a 5K road race, and as usual in my running or surfing dreams it was not going very well. This pale, out of shape, middle aged man runs by me and beats me at the line with a blistering time of 27 minutes. As we walk through the shoot, he turns back to me and says with a thick Norwegian accent something to the effect, "Good running! could you give me effective training advice for future races? Your style and attitude of running is one that I admire." We sit at a table and some ancient old man hands me a CD in a plastic sandwich bag, my second place medal. And he continues to talk in that weirdly poetic but ungrammatical way and informs me his Jackrichard, from Norway. I wake up. In a previous thread I called Jackrichard a a "brilliant troll" and said if he wasn't I'd like to meet him. Well everybody knows trolls come from Norway. Well I met him, and strangely, he is just as real to me now as some of you! Merry Christmas!
That is F'ing hilarious SCREWBY...had a little laugh to myself this morning thinking about jackd!ck...awesome dream.
First, we must congratulate Crewby on CBS for publicly discovering and praising Jack Richards. In a world of harshness delivered upon me by the likes of ZaGaffer and Erock, it's nice to have the Jack Richards of the world around. So nice. And just let me interject, since, according to AO/Spicoli, I know everything. Belmar is a much better place than Deal. Deal is an exclusive town privy and/or prone to mafia vacation homes, and restrictions. Does the mafia still exist? I don't know. Belmar is a town of the people. A town of the people, for the people. They cater to everyone from surf dogs to African American sorority/fraternity get-togethers. It has it all. It has everything you want. The waves are usually much better in Belmar than anywhere else in North Jersey. Yeah, Manasquan gets good, but Belmar has more variety and better jetties besides the big Manasquan Inlet jetty (now that's a jetty). Belmar has plenty of parking; a surf shop owned by Don Tarrant, who was the greatest ESA director of all time, besides Gary Clayton, of course; and easy access to prime surfing conditions. Try and get there at low tide....... Plus, there are rumors, that due to the Monmouth-Labrador Retriever Current, the water temperature can be 8 degrees warmer than in neighboring towns. And the post-surf pizza is delicious. Belmar actually makes me(secretly) wish I lived in North Jersey.......................... No wonder New Jersey Monthly named Belmar as the "Top Shore Destination" the last ten years running. Wow, I'm getting pretty emotional aboot this...........Belmar is just such a great place.
Winter Surfing is very best time for surfing as in this season there are cold waves in the atmosphere. It is the very best time for the surfing. For you i advise to buy booties and gloves and neo sport of 5/4/mm. It will best for you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Many times i do wind surfing as it is but kiting, and we know that it is very easy. Windsurfing is very interesting sport and enjoyed by every one who do this, but in today scenario less no. of people do this. So we should advertise and promote the windsurf so that it should come back.
Dear right now i don't have any information regarding surf chat but as soon i get the information, i will let you know
What a tread. How did I ever miss this the first time around? I think I had stepped away from the forum for a couple weeks at the time. How about more treads like this and less of the suck treadz where people are debating world peace, human trafficking, the existence of God, Santa, and the Easter Bunny from their armchairs?
I like it that sandblasters now resembles an Asian with his suspect use of English language articles. It's a definite trend over time with him. You da man bro. Viva la south.
Sure bro, I love me a great debate as much as anyone. That's when it comes to a real debate between parties that have any relevant knowledge to the matter at hand. Find me a forum from a foreign policy predictin website and that'll be my go to for good political discourse. Same for the host of other disciplines that get debated masterly on here. This is a forum on a surf predictin...err, afterlife predictin website. That's a pretty narrow scope of topics. Now, all message boards have off-topic discussion. However, these "off-topics" are so oft debated (more like "ignorantly mentioned") they're more like on-topic here while surf is off-topic. There are some straight up surf scholars on here. It's a shame we don't get to tap into their knowledge. Heck, much of the "discourse" exchanged on this afterlife predictin forum is done so in hieroglyphics or shorthand gibberish in lieu of English. That's dulling to the intellect, not stimulating. Anyone remember the "drinkin buddy" character Chris Farley played on SNL? I'd just as soon ask him for medical advices than the cats on here lol.
