Maybe this place was fun for you for a moment, but maybe you are too sophisticated for the general surf population?

You can't learn to surf and do dump floaters by listening to others. So what knowledge are you looking for? Do you want to know what tide works best at Bayhead?

 

Bro. I'm not expecting endless surf-related treadz of profound content here. A couple a day would suffice. A couple at any given time even, not just new ones daily.

Look at the cornucopia of things I've BS'ed with you cats about over the last few years - it's extensive. I'm hardly looking for SI to be a one trick pony.

There are only a few things that really turn me off from this place:
1) Repetitive treadz on repetitive topics that are so far from posters' circle of impact (i.e. foreign policy) that it's negligible to speak of even if you have an inkling of professional experience in, which no posters ever do. I could stomach it here and there if they weren't so fervently passionate in these posts that they offer no legitimate content to. Why even engage in such coffee talk on a surf predictin forum? If you have that much of a hard-on for the issue, go find a forum that deals primarily with that topic. You just might learn something about it and have a Shred of useful discussion.
2) Psychopaths. I've addressed this before. Ignore these parasitic wastes of bandwidth and they'll go elsewhere.
3) Alias trolls. If you've got the nerve to disrupt a community needlessly then have the ballz to do it under your own name or at least the known moniker of your forum identity that precedes you in all further interaction here.

I don't see any of the three changing as enough cats here support one or more of those. Hey majority rules. I'll just be paddling into other things than this place the more frequently they occur.

 

I propose we get back to discussing jackrichard because this is one of the best treadz as long as I've been here.
