I don't get allergies, but it pisses me off that I have to keep cleaning off my porch/patio due to tree jizz.

I've got a 100 yr old oak tree 10yards from the front porch that shedded all it's old leaves and pollen in three days. Fortunately it rained hard here for several days. I bagged the leaves in the rain so as not to send the pollen wafting through the air. sniff sniff.

Studies have shown that even pollen from oaks as far as 400 miles away can get your allergies going. But your work is appreciated anyway. Can you come and rake up all the crap in my yard?? Oh, wait....it still has 2 feet of phucking snow on it!!!

The oak pollen really bothers my son so I try to wash it off the walkway and porch so not as much gets brought inside. Probably doesn't help much but what ya gonna do? If it weren't for him I'd wait and let it blow off into someone else's yard.lol P.S. It's 75 degrees with water temps in the 60's here so eat your heart out.

The pine pollen will be out here in a week or 2. It's like a light coating of pale green snow all over everything. I'm not allergic to it, but it's so thick in the air that you choke on it.

Actually U2B, there's a lot of truth and science to back up your statement. If you get unrefined honey from the specific area in which you live, it will greatly reduce your reactions to the local allergens. It's kind of an old Mexican wives tale, but it has worked well for me and many others.

Hope you didn't barf last night.

so is anyone going to offer some allergy reliefs or we going to sit here sneezing our peckers off?!!

I have lifelong allergies, they never go away.animals, pollen, grass, and whatever else is out there.my animal allergies aint that bad,i have animals and only when I get poofers(if u have a big dog u know what poofers are ) in my face il start sneezing.i had zrtek and that other shyt claritan while it was prescription, before it was over the counter and that shyt never helped me.somedays I wont sneeze or have to blow luges onto my coworkers but somedays il literally run through a box of tissues in an hour.it sucks.

pjb I never tried crack.i heard its awesome but not for my particular allergies.i occasionally can go for the hit of sheetrock or raw cheese but it doesn't help

Both Claritin and Zyrtec are anti-histamines. They both hit the very same receptor sites on the mast cells, which are in your airways and produce histamine, the cause of allergies. Another like mediator are leukotrienes, Try Singulair, a leuktiene blocker. Id doesn't work in everybody, but when it does, it works well. It does require a script. It is available as a generic as well. Worth a try if your allergies are bothering you and the zyrtec type drugs aren't working.
    just opinion.

After my chronic sinus issues last year that ended up with them playing roto-rooter in my head they finally tested me for allergies.

The did 42 tests. I'm allergic to 41. Only thing I'm not allergic to is pigweed. Never heard of it, neither had the tester.

Debating on doing the shots or drops, but for now its Claritin+Montelukast+Flonase daily and seems to work. For seasonal the ENT doc gave me Azelastine. Works for when it gets bad but dries me out like a sponge in the desert, have to sip water constantly as it feels like my throat is closing up, so I use it sparingly.

Oh, and neti pot. Daily at minimum, I try to do 2x a day. 3x when seasonal. Gotta flush that crap out man.

Whatcha gonna do? Just suck it up and deal with it.

since this has become a medical thread with actual good advice,i have a question.

    lol.seriously
between 4-7 pm,i have to take a piss literally maybe 7-8 times an hour.i don't even drink a lot of water, but water is the only thing i drink.since iv been on here which maybe 20 minutes i already went to the bathroom 3 times and i have to go again.i don't know if i have a prostate problem or something.during the day, like at work i take 2 pisses the entire 9 hrs im there.

now this actually began when i was prescribed roxys for my back.im not on them anymore, quit 2 years ago.id take my first pill around 12pm because that's what time i woke up,and around 3 4pm the pill would wear off and id be sick and before i take my next pill id piss like crazy.after the pill is in my system my frequent urination would stop.i feel like this is the only thing i couldn't escape from these pills.i never abused them,i was prescribed 4 a day for 3 years and i took them as scheduled.when i was prescribed it was before these things were everywhere and i seriously didn't even know it was legal herion.

so should i seek professional help or does anyone have the same problem?

claritin d works for me. They ask for id these days tho to get the "D" cuz some kids decided to cook meth out of it.
I don't have them bad anymore, but as a kid - scratched my eye till iris got inflamed and got taken to hospital where they had to drain it with a sharp object. "Hold still" was never been taken as seriously as that day.

Humidifier supposed to help, bought one, will test tonight.

About regular pisses: have you also noticed that you drop deuces at a specific time during the day? Like in the morning of just after dinner? Could be a habitual thing, nothing wrong with it. If you feel you're emptying fine then you're fine, I think.
That feeling changes dramatically and urinations become less satisfying of you have something like a kidney stone passing through.

A solid schedule is totally normal. Whatever you do - do NOT consult webmd, unless you're writing emo poetry and need inspiration.
