Either way, this movie included a scene with one of the greatest and craziest wave rides ever… In a spaceship on the biggest wave in the universe, not to mention in a different galaxy on a different planet through a black hole. From this scene alone ever surfer should appreciate the creativity this movie entails
The first thing I think of when I look at a woman is, how would she look with no teeth. I totally feel ya on the defunding space thing. WTF is that about. How about we save a few buck by not blowing things up in places most folks cant find on a map---and by find on a map I dont mean put your fist up to India, spread your fingers as wide as you can, and then change the topic to Jesus. That is Merican Geography 101. I know------ the elusive, "he will probably plow her if he can find her" just wasnt good enough. Bubonic... I have it in my head that you're an overweight black dude. I cannot distinguish avatars vs. reality.
Distinguishing avatars vs. reality is also definitely a problem of mine too. Seldom has been a dog in my head for months.. and some of the other avatars really throw me off
hijack-- NASA should be COMPLETELY defunded. These are the same idiots who did a radical shift from proven spaceflight technology to give us the shuttle. a vehicle with limited capability and little mission. No some 30 years later we are FINALLY getting back to what works. They have proven to be a monstrous bureaucracy that lost its ability to focus and deliver. Let Elon Musk show them how to do it right.
Hijack again... In my mind aka pumpmaster is Red Foreman, voice and all. I am Surfing Bobble Head Obama.
I hope this avatar associating keeps up, everyone's creating an alternative identity through their avatars and it keeps things a lot more interesting
I'm 3/4 dog and 1/4 seagull...which is only evident in my digestive capabilities. Dude being a talking short board with a suite colour scheme ain't too shabby either. So this movie, I'm gonna have to look up the trailor.
The best part of the movie was how they were on the wave planet every hour was equal to 7 years on Earth, and the ship before them still had parts in the water from years ago (Earth time). Just weird and cool to think about.
all that is true but on da flip side don't sell short 'american exceptionalism' cause some of the things they have done left the rest of the world in our dust....
agree but man, think about where we would be today if they had stayed with the Apollo concept and kept improving it?!
Google NASA inventions. They invented or refined many things we use everyday. Their budget is a drop in the bucket compared to the US defence budget.
Too bad Musk will need money from the Gov to really get into space on the reg. NASA does much more than simply flying shuttles into space, and their research has been hit with enough cutbacks over the years as it is. I would rather see funding taken from the military. That would make a much bigger difference than the little guys at NASA.
