    ^ Diet of idiots.

^ True. Fortunately I was blessed.

^ Depends. Fresh fruits/veggies are my go to, but far from a weirdo vegan. Purchased a bacon wrapped filet mignon last night, which is going on the grill later today.

^ Mostly false. Prepare most of mine from scratch, but I do admit to not grinding my own corn for meal...

    ^ Mostly true.

    ^ Mostly true.

^Never tried the latter, don't intend to either.

And some bird managed to find its way through the bird mesh surrounding my blueberry bush yesterday. Not amused over it.

Never even saw it. Managed to find its way out, but I can tell it was a bird by the half-pecked berries.

Cat fetched another mouse from somewhere outside yesterday. Knew it before I even looked at her, by the way she was carrying on as she entered the house. Followed her with it hanging out of her mouth. She took it to her dinner plate, dropped it, then made a rapid, lethal neck bite. Took the plate from her and set it on the front porch steps. Had one guest this morning...didn't say a word about it, lol.

After the guest departed, put some water on to boil. Heard a loud pop. Sounded like glass. Cat came running past me, as I entered the kitchen to find a glass container of sugar on fire. Turned on the wrong burner. Fire alarm sounded, as I put out the flame. Seems to be my month for unintentionally burning things...

Stay away from an ammunitions depot, please. For your own safety.

Second degree burns, and especially on sensitive areas, make for serious distraction issues. Blaming the sugar fire on that. Good news: the private ammo depot is in a fireproof safe.

Just spied two of them, one hovering over the blueberries. No idea what they were. Two mid-sized birds, grayish, no stripes and with an orange undercoat (not Robins). Chased them off, put my cat out for patrol, while placing one dog on guard. Had already picked the ripe berries, but they were still going after them, even while only reddish in color. Pests.
